Shianté Alcorn, BSc

Shianté is the Clinical Solutions Manager (CSM) at Being Integrative Clinical Solutions, In Berkeley, Ca. As the CSM she is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the business. Her role encompasses both business and clinical components. Organized and efficient, She ensures that the client experience from beginning to end is top-notch while also managing the flow of operations. 

Shianté  felt drawn to the field of mental health out of a desire to support individuals and families manage through challenging situations. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Southern University Agricultural & Mechanical  in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Post-college she worked with children and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings, playing an integral role in their treatment compliance. Shianté witnessed the impact of racial, financial, and attachment struggles on the mental health of those seeking care.  She realized it wasn't simply a lack of access hindered physical and self-care.  She felt this opened her eyes to the importance of caring for oneself both inside and out. Shiante is passionate about increasing access to high-quality mental health care and believes that mental health matters. She strongly believes that a therapeutic relationship is a powerful tool for healing.
